How long does it take to complete Bharatanatyam training?
Learning Bharatanatyam is a long-term and evolving journey. The duration varies based on a student’s age, consistency, practice habits, dedication, and individual progress. While foundational training may take several years, mastery of the art form continues throughout a dancer’s lifetime. At Mudra Dance School, students progress at their own pace, guided by disciplined training, regular evaluation, and performance opportunities that support steady growth.
What age can students start?
We enroll kids that are 6 years of age or older and women of all ages.
Are trial classes available?
No. But if you would like to see us in action, please contact us to schedule it.
How many classes a week are available?
Frequency depends on age and skill level. 2 classes a week are the best options.
Are performances mandatory?
Participation is encouraged, based on readiness and interest.
